A very fun area with lots to do. Many trails in the area with skills sections to practice jumping as well. Bring a paddleboard or bathing suit as well to cool off in the lake next to the parking lot. Lake is for nonmotorized traffic only and has a beach designed for swimming and recreation. A fun place to make a day out of!
This is a very fun trail. If you think Kansas doesn’t have good mountain biking, then think again! This trail is extremely rocky and rooty. I would argue it is more of a blue/ black type of trail. The trail flows well despite the extreme amount of chunk. Lots of wheel grabbers and chain ring smashers. Don’t expect big climbs with big descents. More of a flat trail with small climbs and descents, but still a blast of a trail.

Spoke and I set out on a relaxing mountain bike ride on Sand Canyon at Horse Ridge near Bend Oregon. Taking some time to focus on relaxing and slowing down is important in an age that is all about speed and intensity. Enjoy this ambient mountain biking ride!
